Congratulations to Mohamed Ragoubi, Associate Professor at UniLaSalle Rouen in the ECLORE (Circular Economy and Resource Valorization) research unit and delegated manager of the Rouen campus, on obtaining his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) or accreditation to supervise research!

On February 24, 2025, Mohamed Ragoubi successfully defended his HDR entitled “Towards more efficient and functional bio-based materials: process/structure/property relationships”, a work that highlights the evolution of bio-based materials and the scientific challenges related to their optimization.
A recognized specialist at the national and international level, Mohamed Ragoubi is interested in lignocellulosic resources, the natural fibers used to design innovative and sustainable materials. His research aims to better understand how processes influence the structure and properties of these materials in order to improve their performance and functionality.

A career in materials engineering

Since 2007, his research has led to the publication of more than 50 scientific articles on bio-based materials. Associate Professor at UniLaSalle Rouen since 2015, he trains the engineers of tomorrow in the challenges of sustainable materials and supports the development of innovative solutions for industry.

Congratulations on this great scientific achievement!
