Certification
The 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Premium Member Program certifies the use of Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform by educational institutions and training organizations worldwide.
Apex aims to bring together students, teachers and researchers around common themes and creative methodologies.
The tribe thus formed collaborates on projects, on a voluntary and passionate basis.
The projects developed at Apex are real cases and have the potential to have a positive impact on the challenges facing humanity.
The subjects addressed respond to innovation issues raised by academic or industrial partners.
The themes supported by Apex are playgrounds for experimentation.
The approach is playful and the methodology rigorous, with the aim of “finishing the game”.
Apex is an educational program that uses digital technologies to prepare tomorrow's engineers.
Students develop solid dual skills in modeling natural phenomena.
Planetary and life sciences
Understand the phenomena and elements linked to the biosphere and geosphere to promote the resilience of ecosystems and territories.
Model sustainable and adaptive decision-making tools based on geodatasciences.
Engineering and Biomimetics
Respond to economic, technological and environmental challenges by carrying out operational research and development projects.
Develop innovative, bio-inspired solutions, from ideation to demonstrator.
Experimental design
Encourage experimentation on scientific projects through a design-inspired approach.
Stimulate student engagement by designing creative, fun and interactive learning experiences.
Some projects
Project objective: To study the formation of rootless cones during lava flows observed in Iceland in order to understand geological phenomena and the presence of water on Mars).
Project objective: Design of new industrial heat exchangers bio-inspired by pine cones to improve waste heat recovery).
This project won 1st prize in the Biomim'Challenge 2024.
Teaching digital engineering
Our Digital Applied to Geosciences and Agrosciences major is designed to train versatile engineers capable of applying digital innovations to meet current and future planetary challenges.
With subjects such as GIS, remote sensing and machine learning, students learn to extract valuable information from large datasets, an essential step in decision-making in the geosciences and agriculture.
We use modern teaching methods to stimulate creativity and innovation in our students. They learn to think critically, collaborate and adapt to constant technological change. This approach involves hands-on, project-based learning, which engages students in solving real-world problems commissioned by companies.
With projects targeted at students' ambitions in both agronomy and geosciences, our major offers an enriching learning experience and prepares our graduates for exciting careers in fast-growing sectors.
Join us as we explore the digital future of geosciences and agriculture!
The demonstrator showcases UniLaSalle's digital expertise.
This space showcases some emblematic Apex projects and interactive experiences.
The creative room facilitates idea generation and collaboration to explore and innovate during projects.
Islands equipped with 30 workstations enable students to model and run numerical simulations during their projects.
The tutoring area enables students to meet with teachers from the digital team to monitor their academic activities.
The teachers' offices are in close contact with the students' project areas, to encourage day-to-day exchanges.
The projects end with a presentation on the Apex stage.
The stage is used to host the Apex learning community, and content is disseminated both within the UniLaSalle group and externally.
Apex PhDstudents work with students on their thesis topics.
These topics are related to the themes supported by Apex and involve digital technologies.
This space can accommodate up to 8 immersed students for course sequences using virtual reality.
The workshop is used to produce 3D printed prototypes to test and validate their models.
The Studio with green screen and mixer enables teachers to record their lessons on video, and to communicate about Apex projects.
